Dr Tarek Darwich

Tarek Darwich Esanda TrainingDr. Darwich is a petroleum engineer with more than 30 years of experience in oil and gas field development, assets evaluation, production optimisation, technical management, operation, teaching and research. He worked on conventional and unconventional oil and gas projects in most of the countries and basins of the world covering the North Sea, Middle East & North Africa (MENA), West Africa, East Africa, Central Europe, Central Asian republics, North America, South America and Australia.  Dr Darwich spent more than 10 years of his career working on assets in the MENA area including the Western and Eastern deserts of Egypt, Yemen, Iran, Qatar, Libya and Kurdistan Iraq.

Dr Darwich worked in different international and national environments through his work for Sipetrol UK, Noble Energy, Gaz de France, Sasol Petroleum, NewAge, Qatar Petroleum, Suez Oil Company and W S Atkins.  Dr Darwich has also lectured at the University of Portsmouth, U.K., Cairo University, Egypt and Kuwait University.  He also lectured many industrial training courses in Europe, the Middle East and East Africa covering the areas of petroleum production and reservoir engineering as well as oil and gas transportation.

Dr. Darwich has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Cairo University and DIC and PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London.
