Mr. Pérez has more than 26 years of international experience in the energy sector in technical and managerial positions predominantly acquired with Dow Chemical, Schlumberger and specialized consulting firms. Currently, he is the founding partner and Director of Ramp Energy Consulting, an international consulting firm based in Argentina. He has extensive experience in field operations, technical specializations, as well as in commercial development. Their assignments included positions in Latin America, Europe and Africa on well construction and intervention, stimulation engineering, hydraulic fracturing, production optimization, and non-conventional resources.
Mr. Pérez is the author of 28 technical publications at prestigious congresses, and holds a patent on the offshore recovery system of stimulation proppant in Norway. Led the first completions in shale and tight unconventional gas explorations in Europe and North Africa. He has extensive experience in well integrity aspects of Underground Storage and geothermal projects acquired in Europe, leading SPE industry forums with related technical publications. He is an Electronic Engineer (BSc) from San Juan Bosco University, with studies in 'Petroleum and Reservoir Sciences' at the University of Tulsa, Harvard Business School's Marketing course and Master's (MSc) in International Business from Robert Gordon University in Scotland with a dissertation on 'Capacities of Argentina to develop long-term strategies to meet energy demands, concerning shale/renewables, perspectives from geological quality, regulation, supply chain’. In 2017 he completed a PgDip degree in Development and Financing of Renewable Energy Projects at UCEMA, Buenos Aires.
