Guy Allinson
Guy Allinson is an international consultant in petroleum economics and a Senior Honorary Lecturer at the School of Petroleum Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
Guy has over 30 years’ experience as a petroleum economist in the upstream industry. He has held various commercial and managerial positions in oil and gas companies and consulting groups in Europe and the Australia. He has constructed financial models for oil and gas evaluations in many countries, carried out numerous valuations of oil and gas properties and companies for acquisition and sale, has prepared many research reports on the economics of petroleum exploration and production in the Asia-Pacific region, has given advice on petroleum fiscal terms to Governments and oil companies and has provided commercial support for oil and gas field investments and operations worldwide. He has presented over 200 short courses in petroleum economics in Asia, Europe, USA and Africa.
