Flow Assurance - Wellbores to Export
Course overview
Flow Assurance – Wellbores to Export provides a complete review of oil and gas production flow assurance threats, trouble-shooting and flow management. This review includes downhole, pipeline, process / plant and export aspects.
The course begins with an overview of flow assurance and the business case for its management. It then reviews flow assurance issues with producing oil and gas wells including corrosion, scaling, artificial lift systems and others. Pipeline issues are then described, followed by considerations for oil and gas process plants. Marine export systems are discussed, as are specific concerns with solids, scales, paraffin and hydrates. Geotechnical problems, buckling, emergency response and contingency planning are considered. The course concludes with performance management for flow assurance.
The course is designed for
Professionals who work in oil and gas engineering, operations and maintenance, including production, mechanical, process and pipeline engineers, operations managers and supervisors, safety / process safety professionals and senior level leaders who need to better understand flow assurance and its management.
